ShoutVelocity is the first online interactive voting system on the web! The rules of the game are simple. "Shout" anything you would like the world to see, and we will show it to them right here! We will have your shouts compared and voted on by other shouters, in exchange of you voting on their shouts! This way, you can see how your shout competes with others', while you also have an influence on the ranking! So come on now, and shout on! Rest assured, your shout will be displayed very soon on this very front page, for the entire world to read (in the new shouts)! If your shout escalates to the top, then your shout will show under the top rated shouts!!

Don't be intimidated by the top shouts! Our magic formula allows your shout to reach the very top with very few positive reviews! And reach the bottom in even fewer!! All users, such as you, compare two shouts at a time and express opinions, reviews, comments, or just say which shout is better! How does the ranking system work? Here is a description with an example of a top shout.

What does Score mean? First, here is an example of a top shout:



"Score" reflects how good/bad your shout is (as reviewed by others). The higher wins your shout has over others, when rated by random reviewers using shout, the better your shout score is. You can receive the highest score (thereby becoming a top-rated shout) with very few wins, if your shout wins over other high-score shouts. You can also see the number of wins of each shout and the overall rank. In this example, you can see the shout's score, and number of wins by the total number of times it was reviewed, etc.

How to add Credits?

Once you have shouted at least once, you will see Your Recent Shouts on the main page. Each shout also has a "Credit" with it. The number of credits your shout has, is the number of times your shout will be shown to other people for reviewing. You earn one credit the first time you submit the shout. Thereafter, you can add credits to a shout, by clicking on the "add credit" link next to any of your shouts; you are then redirected to review/compare two other shouts. For each such review, you get one credit. If you directly go review two shouts, without clicking on "add credit" link, then one of your shouts is given a credit. Further, some of the better shouts are shown to reviewers automatically every once in a while, without deducting credits. By adding credits, you can force that your shout is shown to people!

How does the Buddy List work?

You can add someone to your Buddy List by visiting their page (which you can reach by searching for them and clicking on their name), and clicking on "ADD TO BUDDY LIST". If they are already on your Buddy List, you can delete them from the list by again visiting their page. Adding people to your Buddy List is a GREAT way of tracking their shouts, and comparing your shout scores with theirs!
